A NMVS password could be locked by entering the wrong password several times or could expire. A locked password must be reset by the NMVS but an expired password can be reset through the Serialogical program.

You may have got a returned message like this:

To reset within our program use Services_Update Password, the process sends a success message and updates the local ‘Connection Details’ settings.

This will work if your password has expired but not if the NMVS has locked it.

When NMVS set a new password you should log onto the NMVS site to be sure that the password works. If you enter the wrong password several times you will be locked out. When you get access to NMVS restored go to Services_Set Connection Details and enter the new password. Also check the box ‘Output NMVS Messages’

This is the same pack scan after the password has been reset. In this case our password has expired (probably the same day as yours, it was working earlier in the week) and was reset through the Services option.
